You're welcome to take a tour of our lovely cat shelter in Swanwick, in return for a donation of cat food or litter. To make an appointment, or to discuss rehoming one of our rescue cats, please get in touch using one of the methods below. We regret we are unable to rehome kittens under six months to homes where there is a child under five.

Meet Lucky Jim

This is one of our newest residents, Lucky Jim. He’s a handsome chap who has been in the wars. You wouldn’t know from this photo...


But the eagle-eyed may spot something amiss from this photo...


Can you see what’s missing? 

Poor Jim is missing a back leg. His leg was so severely infected that it had to be amputated, but lucky Lucky Jim was brought to Woodland Nook for rest and recuperation. He seems to be coping very well on three legs already, which is a good sign. Now he ’s looking for a home!
